TCS is planning to increase its workforce in France by twofold in the next three years, anticipating significant business expansion in the European nation, as stated by a senior official on Thursday. Currently, TCS, the largest Indian IT services company, has 1,600 employees in France across four major centers. France is identified as one of the fastest-growing markets in Europe for TCS, surpassing the overall growth reported for the continent. According to Sapthagiri Chapalapalli, TCS’s head of European business, the groundwork has been laid for accelerated business growth in France, where TCS has been established for over three decades. The company is poised for a substantial multiplication of its business in France, supported by the foundations that have been strategically established. TCS operates with 80 French clients across crucial sectors in the local economy and maintains an innovation center in Paris. The majority of its staff is situated in Paris, with additional centers in Toulouse and Poitiers. TCS aims to at least double its overall staff in the next three years, reflecting confidence in the business’s growth trajectory. Chapalapalli attributes the positive trend to the increased openness of French companies over the past five years, providing a significant boost to TCS’s business in the country.
