Microsoft Teams is gradually recovering from an outage that disrupted access to the messaging platform. On Friday, services began returning for some users, with about 1,600 reported incidents at 05:20 p.m. ET, down from over 14,000 earlier, according to Downdetector.com. Microsoft acknowledged a networking issue affecting part of the Teams service and initiated a failover, though immediate relief was not provided to all users in North and South America. Microsoft Teams, integral for online meetings and collaboration, is a key component of the company’s widely used 365 software suite. Downdetector.com tracks outages by compiling status reports from various sources, including user-submitted errors.
