Kyndryl, the world’s largest technology infrastructure services provider (NYSE: KD), has unveiled two new security edge services in collaboration with Cisco, aimed at enhancing customer security controls and addressing cyber incidents proactively. The first, Kyndryl Consult Security Services Edge (SSE) with Cisco Secure Access, offers a unified approach for consulting and implementing an SSE architecture using Cisco’s technology. The second, Kyndryl Managed SSE with Cisco Secure Access, introduces a novel category of network security services, integrating security into a cloud-delivered service model and providing end-to-end solutions for transitioning, implementing, and managing SSE solutions with Cisco’s portfolio.
This development builds upon the successful partnership between Kyndryl and Cisco, reflecting their joint investment and collaboration in creating scalable security offerings. The newly introduced security edge services, coupled with Kyndryl and Cisco’s existing SD-WAN services, empower enterprises to establish a robust foundation for transitioning into a secure access service edge (SASE) architecture. Kyndryl delivers these services to assist customers in areas such as application modernization, resilient networks, and secure infrastructure, emphasizing zero-trust network and hybrid work.
