Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has secured a 15-year contract with UK insurer Aviva, expanding their existing collaboration. TCS will undertake the transformation of Aviva’s UK life business, focusing on enhancing customer experience through the TCS BaNCS-based platform. The extended partnership includes the management of end-to-end policy administration and servicing for over 5.5 million policies, overseen by TCS’s UK subsidiary, Diligenta, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Aviva’s CEO of insurance, wealth, and retirement, Doug Brown, anticipates improved customer service, streamlined operations, and support for growth ambitions. TCS plans to extend the platform, providing self-service capabilities, digitally powered service centers, and a simplified technology landscape, aiming for a customer-centric approach in the UK life and pensions industry.
