T-Hub, a prominent startup incubator in India, has forged a partnership with Bala Vikasa, a leader in community development, aimed at driving rural and social innovation. This collaboration seeks to promote innovation and address grassroots challenges, ultimately making a significant social impact on a large scale.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two organizations was signed during the Social Start-up Expo organized by the Bala Vikasa Center. The event witnessed the presence of Duddilla Sridhar Babu, the Minister for IT & EC, Industry and Commerce in the Telangana Government, highlighting the importance of this collaboration.
Aligned with the Telangana state government’s forthcoming policy for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which emphasizes integrating social entrepreneurship, this partnership aims to position Telangana as a hub for social innovation and entrepreneurial growth. Focusing on social, frugal, and rural innovation, Bala Vikasa and T-Hub aim to extend their impact beyond urban areas to rural communities.
T-Hub will provide support to startups through specialized capacity-building programs in partnership with Bala Vikasa, enhancing their skills and knowledge. Additionally, this collaboration formalizes Bala Vikasa’s role as a program partner, emphasizing a commitment to mentorship and knowledge exchange.
Market access support will be facilitated by T-Hub, empowering startups within its programs by streamlining market access and creating opportunities for pilot projects. The collaboration also includes the cross-utilization of infrastructure to maximize operational efficiency and foster innovation in India’s startup ecosystem.

Shoury Reddy Singareddy, Executive Director of Bala Vikasa, highlighted immediate support for T-Hub’s social business accelerator program.
