Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has secured a multi-year contract from global assistance and travel insurance company Europ Assistance to revamp its global IT operating model. While the financial details of the deal remain undisclosed, TCS will serve as a strategic partner, expanding its delivery centers in Europe and beyond to provide comprehensive enterprise IT application services. The collaboration includes the implementation of TCS’s ignio AIOps solution from its Digitate suite, aimed at enhancing operational resilience and business agility for Europ Assistance. This partnership is expected to enable Europ Assistance to scale its business capabilities, support its growing partnership ecosystem, and improve speed to market. Additionally, TCS and Europ Assistance will focus on co-innovation, exploring novel use cases through generative AI and advanced technologies. Fabien Azavant, Europ Assistance’s Group CIO, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, while Hemakiran Gupta, Head of Banking, Insurance, and Financial Services, Europe at TCS, highlighted the transformative potential of the automation-powered operating model.
