Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced on Monday that it has secured a multi-year contract from Europ Assistance, a global company specializing in assistance and travel insurance. The deal aims to revamp Europ Assistance’s global IT operating model, with specific financial details remaining undisclosed.
As the designated strategic partner, TCS will bolster its delivery centers across Europe and other regions to offer Europ Assistance comprehensive enterprise IT application services. The collaboration also involves TCS deploying its proprietary solution, ignio AIOps, from its Digitate suite, to enhance operational resilience and business agility for Europ Assistance. This solution will furnish Europ Assistance with actionable insights into its technology framework, thereby enhancing productivity and availability.
Furthermore, the partnership seeks to empower Europ Assistance to expand its business capabilities, support its growing partnership network, and accelerate its time to market. Additionally, both TCS and Europ Assistance will collaborate on co-innovation efforts, focusing on developing innovative use cases leveraging generative AI and other cutting-edge technologies.
Fabien Azavant, group chief information officer at Europ Assistance, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, seeing it as an exciting phase in the organization’s evolution. Hemakiran Gupta, head of banking, insurance, and financial services for Europe at TCS, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing how the automation-driven operating model will enable Europ Assistance to fulfill its global mission and serve customers more effectively.
