UiPath has committed to empowering 500,000 Indians with automation skills by 2027, as announced during the 2024 UiPath Academic Summit in Bengaluru, India. These initiatives, developed in collaboration with FutureSkills Prime and other partners, aim to democratize access to AI and automation skills across India. They include expanding partnerships, providing financial assistance through scholarships, establishing dedicated training facilities, promoting automation literacy, and creating pathways to jobs. Arun Balasubramanian, Vice President and Managing Director India and South Asia at UiPath, emphasized the importance of enhancing skills and expertise in the era of AI and automation. Kirti Seth, CEO of SSC Nasscom, highlighted the significance of this collaboration in realizing the Skill India Mission. Since its launch in 2019, UiPath’s Academic Alliance program has forged partnerships with over 1,000 academic institutions, benefiting over 350,000 students with the support of 1,250 educators.
