Indic Wisdom raises INR 4 Crores in Pre-Series A Funding led by Inflection Point Ventures.

Indic Wisdom, a startup focused on agricultural produce, has raised INR 4 crores in a Pre-Series A round with Inflection Point Ventures leading the investment. Other participants include Mahendra Sankhe, Launch Capital, Bifco Finance, and several high-net-worth individuals. The capital infusion aims to bolster the brand’s visibility, expand its distribution network, and enhance production capacity to strengthen its market presence and operational efficiency.

Founded by Kaustubh Khare and Prajakta Khare, Indic Wisdom draws inspiration from India’s rich culinary heritage, emphasizing natural, shared, and sustainable food practices. The founders bring extensive corporate experience, particularly in SAP ERP, to drive the company’s mission of delivering purity and cultural values through wood-pressed oils.

Rahul Wagh, Managing Director at Inflection Point Ventures, highlights the growing preference for healthier and sustainable alternatives like wood-pressed oils, driven by concerns over the quality, safety, and environmental impact of conventional oils. With the global wood-pressed oil market expected to witness significant growth, Indic Wisdom is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend.

Indic Wisdom distinguishes itself with in-house manufacturing, stringent quality control, and financial stability, evident from its positive PAT for the past four years. The company’s current production capacity stands at 70 thousand liters of oil per month, reflecting its operational scale and efficiency.

Prajakta Khare, Founder & Director of Indic Wisdom, underscores the company’s commitment to promoting India’s culinary traditions globally while integrating modern production practices and quality standards. She highlights the company’s sustainable manufacturing practices, including a zero-waste facility in Palghar, generating employment and achieving significant monthly GMV.

The Cold Pressed Oil market in India is projected to witness substantial growth, reaching approximately INR 40,000 crores by 2030, reflecting the increasing demand for healthier alternatives. Indic Wisdom’s partnership with Inflection Point Ventures has exceeded expectations, showcasing rapid engagement and transparent execution in the VC space.
