With over 250,000 users, Toddle sought to enhance its platform’s performance and user experience through collaboration with AWS, emphasizing its commitment to ongoing improvement.
The collaboration involved Toddle migrating to AWS Lambda and implementing Amazon CloudFront Custom Pricing, alongside reconfiguring its usage of Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS). These changes resulted in significant cost reductions for Toddle, freeing up resources for innovation and service enhancement.
The online learning sector is experiencing rapid growth globally, with the e-learning industry projected to reach $64.5 billion by 2027. Toddle, based in India, has seen substantial expansion, serving over 1,500 K-12 schools within just three years. Leveraging AWS services from the outset, Toddle transitioned to AWS Lambda as its platform scaled, leading to streamlined operations and reduced infrastructure management.
Toddle’s expansion across multiple AWS Regions facilitated its business growth while ensuring compliance with data regulations like GDPR. The company’s focus on optimization continued with AWS’s assistance, leading to cost savings and performance enhancements in services like Amazon CloudFront and Amazon RDS.
The partnership with AWS has enabled Toddle to allocate more resources to product development, resulting in the introduction of new features such as attendance tracking and academic transcript generation. Looking forward, Toddle plans to explore additional AWS services like Amazon Aurora Serverless and Amazon Athena to further improve its platform’s efficiency and analytics capabilities.
