F5 Enhances Multi-cloud Application Security with Automated Penetration Testing

F5 has integrated automated reconnaissance and penetration testing capabilities into F5 Distributed Cloud Services. This addition, powered by the acquisition of Heyhack, enables customers to safeguard their growing number of applications and APIs in multi-cloud environments more effectively.

These new capabilities empower F5 Distributed Cloud Services users to effortlessly identify vulnerabilities in their web applications through automated scans. Based on the scan results, the service suggests appropriate remediations, including web application firewall rules. This enhancement bolsters F5’s multi-cloud application security offerings, streamlining vulnerability discovery for customers.
