Oracle Enhances Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite with New Generative AI Features

Oracle unveiled advanced generative AI capabilities integrated into the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite, aiming to elevate decision-making processes and improve both employee and customer experiences. These enhancements span across finance, supply chain, HR, sales, marketing, and service domains. Notably, Oracle’s Guided Journeys extensibility framework now permits customers and partners to integrate additional generative AI functionalities tailored to their specific industry needs.

Steve Miranda, Oracle’s executive vice president of applications development, emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering customer-centric innovation through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Fusion Applications. Over 50 embedded generative AI applications within Oracle Fusion Applications are designed to uphold data privacy and security, with no sharing of customer data with external entities.

Among the newly integrated generative AI capabilities are features like insight narratives for identifying anomalies, management reporting narratives for explaining variances, predictive forecast explanations, and more within Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. Similarly, Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM offers functionalities such as item description generation and supplier recommendations, while Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM introduces features like job category landing pages and candidate assistants. Oracle Fusion Cloud CX also benefits from enhancements like service webchat summaries and assisted authoring for sales and marketing content.

Furthermore, Oracle’s Guided Journeys now facilitates the seamless integration of custom generative AI models, allowing organizations to augment their existing Oracle Fusion Applications with tailored AI solutions. Leveraging OCI’s advanced infrastructure, including bare metal compute instances and high-performance storage, Oracle aims to accelerate AI innovation and attract leading innovators to its platform.
