Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has entered a multi-year partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), aimed at upskilling 25,000 TCS employees in cloud and GenAI skills. With more than 350,000 employees already trained in AI/ML, including GenAI, TCS is positioning itself to develop one of the largest AI-ready workforces globally.
TCS is among the early achievers of the AWS GenAI competency, a recognition granted to partners demonstrating extensive knowledge and technical expertise in utilizing AWS technologies and best practices for adopting generative AI solutions. This competency underscores TCS’s role in aiding customers and the AWS Partner Network (APN) in advancing services, tools, and infrastructure essential for implementing GenAI technologies like Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Sagemaker Jumpstart, Amazon Q, and Amazon CodeWhisperer.
Krishna Mohan, Vice President and Deputy Head of the AI.Cloud Unit at TCS, expressed pride in achieving the AWS generative competency as a launch partner, attributing it to TCS’s proactive investments and close collaboration with AWS. He emphasized TCS’s commitment to empowering businesses with next-generation technologies to enhance agility, foster innovation, and drive growth.
