Axis Communications has introduced Axis Cloud Connect, a cloud-based platform aimed at offering secure, flexible, and scalable security solutions. With over two decades of experience in cloud connectivity and a million cloud-connected Axis cameras in use, Axis Cloud Connect seamlessly integrates with Axis devices, providing managed services for system and device management, video and data delivery, and cybersecurity. This open platform enables smooth integration of Axis devices and partner applications, offering managed services for remote access to live video operations, device management, and user access management. Additionally, Genetec, a unified physical security software leader, has introduced its Genetec Security Center SaaS solution, leveraging Axis Cloud Connect for continuous product and firmware improvements and cybersecurity updates. Axis has also announced the next generation of its video management system (VMS), AXIS Camera Station, built on Axis Cloud Connect, offering three versions tailored to different user needs: AXIS Camera Station Pro, Edge, and Center. These solutions, along with Axis devices, prioritize robust cybersecurity and performance, aiming to empower businesses to utilize cloud-based solutions according to their evolving needs.
