Wipro Appoints Hari Shetty as Chief Strategist and Sales Officer

Wipro has appointed Hari Shetty as Chief Strategist and Sales Excellence Officer, marking the first CXO-level appointment under new CEO Srinivas Pallia. Shetty, previously Senior Vice President & Sector Head for technology platforms, products & gaming at Wipro, brings extensive experience in client engagement, strategy development, and P&L oversight. With three decades at Wipro, Shetty has held leadership roles across various industries and has expertise in cloud computing, AI, and automation. As the “Change & Transform” leader for the consumer business division, he spearheaded digital transformation initiatives. Shetty, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Science, holds degrees in computer science, management, finance, and law.
