Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang emphasized the importance of its partnership with Dell Technologies in broadening AI access, helping organizations create their own “AI factories.” Speaking at the Dell Technologies World conference, Huang noted that the collaboration aims to provide comprehensive AI infrastructure, beyond just hardware, to a diverse range of businesses and government agencies.
Dell, a major provider of computing infrastructure, complements Nvidia’s growth, which has so far been driven primarily by large data center operators like Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, and Alphabet. By partnering with Dell, Nvidia plans to expand its reach into a wider market, encouraging more entities to develop their AI capabilities using Dell’s storage, networking, and computing resources.
Huang also mentioned Nvidia’s push into software tools and AI models, which is driving its technology into various fields, including drug discovery and shipbuilding. This strategic move has significantly boosted Nvidia’s revenue and stock performance, with its stock rising over 90% this year. Dell’s stock has also surged similarly.
Nvidia’s revenue growth is remarkable, with recent quarterly sales nearly matching its annual revenue from two years ago. While Dell launched AI-optimized PCs, Nvidia remains the leading seller of AI accelerators essential for developing advanced AI tools. When asked about future plans to produce CPUs, Huang did not confirm, hinting at potential developments next year.
