Kochi, July 11: Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan of Kerala predicts that Kerala will become India’s focal point for Artificial Intelligence (AI), harnessing AI tools across sectors and making significant indigenous contributions in the field. He made these remarks while inaugurating the inaugural International Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) conclave at Lulu Grand Hyatt Bolgatty International Convention Center. Organized by Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) in partnership with IBM, the two-day event aims to integrate AI into sectors such as tourism, healthcare, education, IT, and renewable energy to boost economic growth and enhance quality of life. The conclave is part of Kerala’s strategic efforts to position itself as a hub for GenAI in the country, aligning with its new Industrial Policy that emphasizes AI as a key sector.
