Collaboration and Innovation Take Center Stage at ISODA United Summit 2024

The Infotech Software Dealers Association (ISODA) has concluded the ISODA United Summit 2024, held from August 21st to 24th in the scenic locale of Kovalam, Kerala. The event brought together leading figures in the IT channel industry for three days of insightful discussions, networking, and celebrations.

The summit kicked off with the ISODA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Day 1, where members engaged in strategic discussions to enhance the association’s visibility and grow its membership. The Management Committee, with the full support of its members, chose to retain the current board, ensuring continuity in leadership. A notable change was the appointment of Pratik Shah, Director at ITCG Technologies LLP, as the new Regional Secretary for the West.

Day 2 featured a powerful keynote by Sreekumar Balachandran, Global IT Head, Suntech Group and President of the Kerala Chapter of the CIO Association of India. He emphasized the growing importance of hybrid cloud solutions and the trend of repatriation, highlighting the critical role of collaboration in driving technological advancements.

The day continued with sponsor presentations, led by Title Sponsor Firemon and supported by Gold Sponsors Scale Fusion and Bahwan Cyber Tek. Silver Sponsors Fortra, Acronis, Trellix, Efficient IP, and Prophaze also delivered engaging sessions.

A standout moment was the leadership session titled “Know Your Everest,” presented by Kuntal Joisher, the world’s first vegan to summit Mt. Everest twice. His talk on overcoming challenges through collaboration inspired attendees.

The day also featured a dynamic panel discussion, “Setting Expectations,” moderated by Rajeev Mamidanna, Managing Director, Synoptiq Infosolutions. The panel included industry leaders like Sreekumar Balachandran, Sahil Jamnawale of Fortra, Jiten Mehta of Magnamious Systems, and others, offering valuable insights into ecosystem expectations.

The evening culminated in the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony. For the first time, ISODA members nominated and voted for channel-friendly OEMs, with SonicWall and Sophos winning the ISODA OEM Awards 2024. The ISODA Awards for Business Excellence 2024 recognized exceptional members, with Essen Vision Software and Secure Network Solutions taking the Best Solution Partner awards, Beehive Software named Best ISV, and TechKnowlogic, a Netpoleon Company, as Best Distributor.

Day 3 provided a relaxing close to the summit with a temple visit and a traditional Sadya feast, allowing members to unwind and strengthen professional relationships.
