Data Infrastructure Trust (“DIT”), an Infrastructure Investment Trust backed by Brookfield Asset Management (NYSE: BAM, TSX: BAM), has announced the appointment of Munish Seth as the Group Managing Director of its Investment Manager, Data Link Investment Manager Private Limited (“Data Link”).
In his new role, Munish will spearhead the development and implementation of DIT’s long-term growth strategy, focusing on addressing India’s evolving infrastructure and connectivity requirements. His responsibilities will encompass DIT and its subsidiaries, including Summit Digitel, Crest Digitel, and any future acquisitions, with a focus on fostering trust, strengthening customer relationships, and enhancing employee satisfaction.
Munish brings over 34 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Before this appointment, he was the Country Director at Google, where he led the platforms and devices ecosystem and played a key role in expanding the Android ecosystem in India. He also acted as Google’s executive sponsor with Indian telecom operators and has held significant leadership positions at Meta and Alcatel Lucent.
