Palo Alto Networks Completes Acquisition of IBM’s QRadar SaaS Assets

Partnership Enhances SOC Innovation and AI-Driven Security Solutions

Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ: PANW), a leader in global cybersecurity, has finalized the acquisition of IBM’s QRadar Software as a Service (SaaS) assets. This move highlights the strengthened collaboration between Palo Alto Networks and IBM, aimed at delivering advanced threat prevention and simplifying security operations through a comprehensive platform approach.

Palo Alto Networks’ Cortex XSIAM® platform, powered by Precision AI™, integrates various security operations capabilities—including SIEM, SOAR, ASM, and XDR—into a unified system. This integration is designed to streamline security operations and enhance threat prevention at scale. As part of the acquisition, Palo Alto Networks and IBM will offer eligible customers free migration services from QRadar to Cortex XSIAM through IBM Consulting.

Additionally, IBM has adopted Palo Alto Networks’ Cortex XSIAM and Prisma SASE 3.0 for its own security needs, protecting its global workforce of over 250,000. IBM’s use of these technologies illustrates their effectiveness and integration across Palo Alto Networks’ solutions.
