build3 Launches Third Cohort of Its Impact Accelerator, Calls for Applications from Early-Stage Startups

build3, a leading platform for nurturing impact-driven startups (those combining profit with purpose), has announced the opening of applications for the third cohort of its renowned Impact Accelerator program. This new cohort will commence in the first week of November and will be conducted virtually. Selected startups will benefit from INR 25 Lakhs in funding upon completing the 10-week program, with additional funding opportunities available through build3’s demo day events.

The announcement follows the success of the second cohort, which involved 27 startup founders and led to the formation of 19 new startups. Notable ventures from this cohort included OnHire, Bolofy, and ReNewCred, each of which received INR 25 Lakhs in pre-seed investment from build3. The third cohort aims to build on this success, with applications closing on October 15. build3’s investment strategy spans various sectors, focusing on early-stage startups aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and emphasizing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria. Applications for the third cohort can be submitted [here].

Varun Chawla, Co-Founder of build3, expressed enthusiasm about the new cohort: “We aim to support 100,000 impact founders in creating startups that benefit the mind, body, and the Earth over the next decade. I’m excited to announce the third cohort, which underscores the growing interest in creating startups with both profit and purpose in India. We look forward to collaborating with over 50 founders in this cohort.”

The selection process for the third cohort includes a detailed application followed by an online interview with shortlisted candidates. The goal is to identify passionate founders who align with build3’s mission of scaling impactful startups. Participants will undergo a 10-week program featuring workshops and keynotes on topics such as market research, go-to-market strategies, product development, storytelling, organizational structuring, fundraising, accounting, and compliance. They will also benefit from mentorship by successful entrepreneurs and industry experts, networking opportunities, and access to SaaS tools and free credits from AWS, GCP, Zoho, and others. Additionally, they will connect with build3’s extensive network of over 300 creators, mentors, and investors.
