Agora, Inc. (NASDAQ: API), a leader in real-time engagement APIs, announced the release of its new Conversational AI SDK, integrated with OpenAI’s Realtime API. This integration enables developers to incorporate voice-driven AI interactions into apps, creating more natural conversational experiences for users across a variety of applications.
“Real-time conversational AI is the future of enhancing consumer and business interactions with AI,” said Tony Zhao, CEO and Co-Founder of Agora. “By combining OpenAI’s capabilities with Agora’s real-time audio streaming, our Conversational AI SDK will allow developers to bring natural voice interactions and conversational intelligence to their apps.”
Agora’s Conversational AI SDK uses its global real-time network, which powers 60 billion minutes of interaction each month across 200 countries, to facilitate seamless voice interaction with OpenAI’s GPT models. It features advanced AI technologies like echo cancellation and noise suppression for accurate voice processing in any environment.
This new integration will allow developers to build AI-powered voice agents for a wide range of uses, including 24/7 customer support, health and wellness, education, gaming, and IoT applications.
Yun Zhang, CEO and Co-founder of Wyze, highlighted the importance of Agora’s low-latency network, calling it “a game changer” for voice interactions with AI in smart devices. Samuel Lim, CEO of Agora customer Grepp, added that integrating conversational AI will enhance personalized learning and skill assessment.
Tony Zhao concluded, “This integration will spark new creativity and opportunities in the AI space, helping developers build innovative apps that transform how end users interact with AI in everyday life.”
