Fintech company Uni is utilizing Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud to streamline decision-making, risk management, and customer experience. Snowflake’s platform allows Uni to centralize data, leading to faster, more informed business decisions, enabling the company to launch new applications, improve customer lifecycle management, and innovate in the credit industry.
Uni selected Snowflake’s secure and unified architecture to handle large data workloads. This integration has reduced manual processes and centralized data analytics, significantly improving efficiency. With Snowflake, Uni can now analyze structured and unstructured data from sources like credit bureaus in under an hour, a task that previously took 2-3 days. This has improved customer satisfaction by enabling timely feedback responses.
Uni operates over 70 microservices in credit management, each with its own database. With Snowflake, setting up data pipelines for new applications takes under five minutes, allowing engineering teams to focus on higher-value tasks. Snowflake also supports real-time reconciliation and regulatory reporting, enhancing credit management and customer experience.
Looking ahead, Uni plans to leverage Snowpipe Streaming for improved operational efficiency and cost savings. The company also aims to use Snowflake’s Data Clean Rooms capabilities for secure data sharing across departments and partners. This will help Uni better understand user behavior, optimize marketing communication, and drive product innovation. Additionally, Uni plans to implement AI for anomaly detection to monitor improper cash flows and identify fraud.
Abhra Dasgupta, Director of Engineering at Uni, emphasized that Snowflake has been integral to their data-driven business strategy, powering innovations like Paychek, PowerUp Money, and NX Wave Credit Card. Snowflake’s platform supports Uni’s entire risk analysis and underwriting processes.
