New partners Anthropic, Google Cloud, and Snowflake join Cloudera’s AI Ecosystem at EVOLVE24 New York event
A comprehensive ecosystem of technology providers enhances enterprises’ ability to leverage AI initiatives effectively
India – Oct. 17, 2024 – Cloudera, a hybrid platform specializing in data, analytics, and AI, has announced an expansion of its Enterprise AI Ecosystem during its annual data and AI conference, EVOLVE24 New York. This initiative unites a diverse array of top-tier AI providers to deliver complete, end-to-end AI solutions that help customers maximize their AI investments.
Large enterprises face unique challenges when deploying AI applications at scale, such as:
– Justifying the total cost of ownership within a reasonable timeframe by demonstrating business value.
– Adhering to stringent security and privacy standards to safeguard sensitive information and maintain compliance.
– Retaining the flexibility to deploy various models from a wide array of vendors in optimal environments for each specific use case, often where the relevant data is located.
At last year’s EVOLVE conference, Cloudera introduced the Enterprise AI Ecosystem with founding members including:
– NVIDIA, which offers full-stack accelerated computing for developing and deploying AI workloads in both public and private clouds. Cloudera recently announced the expansion of its AI Inference Service through integration with NVIDIA NIM, facilitating secure and reliable deployment of high-performance AI model inferencing.
Amazon Web Services (AWS), featuring Amazon Bedrock, which enables customers to build and scale generative AI applications through a single API.
– Pinecone, recognized for its leading vector database that supports prevalent AI use cases like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and semantic search.
Over the past year, there has been significant interest in the Enterprise AI Ecosystem, prompting Cloudera to expand its network of AI partners. The latest partners introduced at EVOLVE24 New York include:
– Google Cloud: With its Vertex AI Model Garden, Google Cloud provides a centralized hub for discovering, customizing, and deploying a variety of models, including over 150 first-party and third-party foundation models. Cloudera has also released an Accelerator for Machine Learning Project (AMP) named “Summarization with Gemini from Vertex AI” to assist customers in quickly deploying summarization use cases.
– Anthropic: Known for its Claude large language models (LLMs), Anthropic’s technology is well-suited for code generation, vision analysis, and text generation. Cloudera is introducing an AMP called “Image Analysis with Anthropic’s Claude LLM,” designed to accelerate the development of image analysis applications. Claude will also be the default foundational model for Cloudera’s AI Coding Co-pilot.
– Snowflake: Building on their strategic collaboration, Cloudera and Snowflake are integrating Snowflake’s Arctic Embed models, which excel in SQL generation. Their partnership enhances interoperability, enabling seamless data sharing for AI use cases.
“Cloudera’s Enterprise AI Ecosystem was created to address the complex and evolving security, privacy, and performance demands of large organizations,” said Abhas Ricky, Chief Strategy Officer at Cloudera. “With over 400 cutting-edge AI accelerators deployed, we are committed to providing integrated AI solutions that empower organizations with high-fidelity capabilities.”
Adrien Chenailler, Head of Data Science and AI at OCBC Bank, praised Cloudera’s expanding AI Ecosystem for accelerating the transition from prototypes to production with proven architectures.
Kate Jensen, Head of Growth and Revenue at Anthropic, emphasized that the new Image Analysis capability will transform visual data into actionable insights, enhancing productivity for businesses.
Baris Gultekin, Head of AI at Snowflake, expressed enthusiasm about integrating Snowflake’s models into Cloudera’s AI Inference, enhancing generative AI capabilities for customers and fostering smarter decision-making.
Cloudera’s existing Enterprise AI Ecosystem partners, including NVIDIA and AWS, are also featured prominently at EVOLVE24 New York, which takes place today, October 10.
