The Global Technology Distribution Council (GTDC) has welcomed Redington Limited into its membership, expanding its global reach, particularly in the Asia-Pacific-Japan (APJ) region. Redington, a prominent distributor of IT, IT-enabled services, and telecom products, serves over 55,000 partners and 450 vendors across 40 markets, including India, the Middle East, and Africa. This addition strengthens GTDC’s presence in the region, following its efforts to grow its Asia-Pacific operations under the leadership of Ananth Lazarus, a seasoned executive from Microsoft, IBM, and Compaq.
Redington’s inclusion into GTDC allows the consortium to better understand regional needs while offering Redington access to cutting-edge research, data intelligence, and industry-leading resources. The organization has earned recognition for its technological leadership and commitment to sustainability, evidenced by its LEED Platinum certification for energy efficiency.
Redington CEO V.S. Hariharan noted that joining GTDC is a significant milestone, aligning with the company’s mission to foster innovation and provide exceptional value to partners.
With this move, GTDC now includes 22 technology distributors spanning multiple global regions, furthering its mission to drive growth in the technology distribution industry.
