Netmagic host Ratnakar Bank’s entire Internet banking services infrastructure including hardware, patching and database management. Despite numerous hurdles, Netmagic was able to migrate the bank’s Internet banking services infrastructure seamlessly to its datacenter within a short span of four days. Netmagic’s team worked in close coordination with the bank and the Internet banking application provider to understand the workflow, future growth plans and setting up the necessary backup mechanism before migrating the application to its facility.

Netmagic also helped Ratnakar Bank in building the infrastructure for its core banking application (on AIX platform with multiple LPARs) from scratch. This also includes setting up of mailing and back office infrastructure. Netmagic also set up a DR facility for Ratnakar Bank.

Netmagic supports and manages firewalls, network links from multiple service providers connecting all branches of the bank across the country and servers (OS and DB) spread across its datacenters for Ratnakar Bank. Netmagic has also provided DR services to the bank on both Windows and Linux platforms in physical as well as virtual environment.

Netmagic worked out a cost structure where the Bank spends on IT on an OpEx model that does not affect its cash flows.

We got the benefit of avoiding a huge CapEx and reusing that CapEx for business purposes. We adopted a linear way of allocating IT spends where we do not have to provision for a huge CapEx initially and we pay for what we use. This was a great value add where I did not have to utilize my cash, instead I re-invested that into the business to get more business.”
