The first supercomputer installs is announced by one of the global leader in digital transformation i.e., Atos.
The BullSequana, which is the first supercomputer to be installed as part of the Indian Government’s National Supercomputing Mission (NSM), was officially inaugurated at IIT-BHU in Varanasi by the Prime Minister of India the Honorable Narendra Modi.

Government of India’s , a 7 –year plan of INR 4500 Crores in a NSM (NATIONAL SUPERCOMPUTING MISSION) is working on a aim to create a network of over 70 high performance supercomputing facilities which can work together for research and academic institution in PAN India. This supercomputer is named ‘Param Shivav’ is first of all that will be installed by MEITY (Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, India) across PAN India with 3 – year joint venture with C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing)
