 ATEN Advance, a leader in AV/IT connectivity and management solutions, has just released the CM1942 – a 2-Port 4K Dual Display Mini-Matrix Boundless KVM Switch designed to promote a more productive and better normal with improved desktop workflows for both individual tasks and collaborative projects. This KVM switch is suitable for the current hybrid working environment and offers an array of features to help tackle the challenges of multitasking.

The CM1942 comes with two DisplayPort ports for connecting two computers and two HDMI displays, allowing for exceptional 4K audiovisual enhancement. With both main and extended desktops of either computer displayed over two monitors, users can switch between two computers instantly by moving the mouse cursor across the screen borders. Additionally, the audio mixer mode allows for audio and sound from both computers to mix into one output. Port switching is also flexible and can be done via pushbuttons, hotkeys, mouse, or the remote port selector. Lastly, media and data sharing between computers is made easy through the USB hub on the switch.
