Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the expansion of its Partner Transformation Program (PTP) with the introduction of Targeted Transformation Modules (TTMs). These modules are designed to provide tailored guidance and support to AWS Partners, helping them accelerate their cloud journey. The TTMs, which are available now, offer topic-specific workshops that complement the standard PTP engagement. Developed in collaboration with partners, the initial TTMs include the Cloud Enablement Engine (CEE) and the CFO Cloud Conversations (CCC).
The Cloud Enablement Engine (CEE) workshop focuses on assisting partners in establishing a sustainable Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) to expedite their AWS journey. AWS Transformation Consultants guide businesses in developing a comprehensive plan, encompassing repeatable standards, new governance frameworks, and best practices for a seamless transition. The CEE modules enable organizations to scale their operations and establish a CCoE within a span of 90 days. Felipe Augusto, CTO of NextPage, praised the benefits of CEE, stating that it facilitated knowledge propagation, streamlined solutions deployment, and reduced development time and costs for their public sector clients.
The CFO Cloud Conversations (CCC) workshop addresses the needs of chief financial officers (CFOs) in making informed cloud decisions as their organizations grow. By incorporating insights from AWS, industry consultants, and successful partners, CCC equips CFOs with the necessary tools to advise stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and lenders, on the business implications of their AWS Cloud journey. The workshop delves into various public sector programs, reviews costs, and evaluates timeframes relevant to business planning for both large and small companies. TUTEH, an AWS Partner from Tshwane University of Technology, praised CCC for its insightful and timely nature, enabling their senior team to incorporate necessary models into financial planning.
