ATEN Advance, a renowned provider of AV/IT connectivity and management solutions, has unveiled its latest KVM Extenders for IP Transmitting and IP Receiving. The new products, KX9970FT and KX9970FR, belong to the 5K DisplayPort KVM over IP Transmitter and IP Receiver category under the KX9970F model. Similarly, KX9970T and KX9970R are part of the 5K DisplayPort KVM ovATEN er IP Transmitter and IP Receiver, falling under the KX9970 model.
The KX9970F and KX9970 come with enhanced features, offering support for up to 10 Gbps optic fiber network connection, impeccable 5K audiovisual performance, and speedy peripheral data sharing, among other capabilities. This advanced KVM over IP Matrix System solution integrates flexible extender connections, visual collaboration, and system control, aiming to streamline control room workflows and enhance productivity with KVM over IP agility.
KX9970FT and KX9970T serve as high-performance KVM over IP transmitters, enabling secure, remote, and uninterrupted access to a DisplayPort computer from a 5K DisplayPort KVM console connected to KX9970FR and KX9970R receivers, either over an Intranet or a dedicated LAN. By installing the receiver console at a separate location from the transmitter within a standard IP network, critical control room operations become more ergonomic, user-centric, and task-oriented, ensuring independence from environmental interference.
Key Features of KX9970FT and KX9970T KVM over IP Transmitters:
- High-performance IP-based Single Display transmitters, facilitating transmission of a computer’s keyboard, video, mouse, and USB signals to the receiver, providing separate console accesses from both the transmitter’s and receiver’s locations.
- Support for one DisplayPort video display, delivering video resolutions of up to 5K (5120 x 2880 @ 30 Hz) with flawless, lossless video quality and extremely low latency.
- Connection flexibility, with both the transmitter and receiver models capable of being connected either directly to each other or via a high-speed network over a copper-based or fiber-based LAN.
- IP-based matrix extender installation, allowing flexible configurations, including point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, multipoint-to-point, and multipoint-to-multipoint.
- Integration with the KVM over IP Matrix Manager (CCKM) for creating a KVM over IP matrix system (multipoint-to-multipoint) with more flexible applications across various working environments.
- Secured data transmission with 256-bit AES encryption for all transmitted data from the transmitter to the receiver, supporting industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol.
On the other hand, the KX9970FR and KX9970R KVM over IP Receivers come with the following features:
- High-performance IP-based Single Display receivers, enabling the transmission of a computer’s keyboard, video, mouse, and USB signals to the receiver, allowing separate console accesses from both the transmitter’s and receiver’s locations.
- Dual power supply capability for power redundancy, ensuring reliable services. These receivers can be conveniently set up at workstations, mounted on walls, or at the rear of racks with their space-saving 0U rack-mount design.
- Integration with CCKM for advanced features such as auto-detection of all receiver devices on the same subnet for quick installation or configuration, username/password authentication and authorization, and defining different types of connections that can be switched and shared.
- Robust security measures with 256-bit AES encryption for secured data transmissions, as well as support for RADIUS, LDAP, Active Directory, and TACACS+ for third-party authentication services.
- Advanced Scheduling feature, promoting efficiency and cost-saving by allowing connections to be set based on time and date.
- Virtual Transmitter functionality, independently streaming video, audio, USB, and serial sources from different Tx
