Kunal Ruvala takes charge as Senior VP and GM at Palo Alto Networks’ India Development Centers.

Palo Alto Networks, a global leader in cybersecurity, has appointed Kunal Ruvala as Senior Vice President and General Manager for its operations in India. In this capacity, Kunal will spearhead the company’s India Development Centers, directing efforts towards advancing growth and fostering innovation, thereby solidifying Palo Alto Networks’ position as a hub of innovative excellence.

India stands as the world’s third-largest digitalized nation, necessitating concurrent advancements in cybersecurity to combat the escalating risks of cyber breaches inherent in a digital economy. Kunal’s appointment signifies Palo Alto Networks’ commitment to catalyzing growth in India, steering ongoing innovation across all facets of the Network Security Product function in the market, and contributing to India’s ambition of achieving a $1 trillion digital economy by 2026.

Reporting to Anand Oswal, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Network Security, Kunal assumes responsibility for developing top-tier products that deliver superior security outcomes within the Network Security platform, as well as overseeing various teams and projects across the organization. Collaborating closely with Anil Valluri, MD and VP for India & SAARC, who leads go-to-market strategies in the region, Kunal will also facilitate partnerships within India’s higher education sector to drive collaborative innovation in research and development endeavors.
