TCS Reports Training 350,000 Employees in Generative AI Abilities

TCS has disclosed that it has provided training in generative AI skills to 350,000 of its employees, marking a significant step towards building a substantial AI-ready workforce. This initiative, which began in January with 150,000 employees, now encompasses over half of the company’s workforce. In addition, TCS established itself as the first technology firm to establish a dedicated AI and cloud unit in 2023. The company has already applied generative AI in various projects, such as improving customer experiences for airlines and simplifying contract review processes. Furthermore, TCS has been recognized by Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Generative AI competency partner, reflecting its commitment to innovation and collaboration in the AI domain.
