NetApp and Google Cloud have expanded their partnership to enhance cloud data storage flexibility, particularly for initiatives like generative AI. They’ve introduced the Flex service level for Google Cloud NetApp Volumes, offering adaptable storage volumes to match the specific needs of various cloud workloads. Additionally, NetApp is previewing its GenAI toolkit, which, when combined with NetApp Volumes, facilitates the implementation of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) operations using Google Cloud Vertex AI platform.
